Official STLWC Policy
This statement represents an official policy of the Saint Louis Weather Club (STLWC). All members and visitors are required to adhere to the guidelines and rules set forth herein. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including removal of access to STLWC services.

Governing Jurisdiction: State of Missouri, United States
Organization: Saint Louis Weather Club, a Missouri-based unincorporated association (“STLWC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”)
Chat Guidelines:
Be respectful: Do not engage in disruptive behavior, create arguments, or involve yourself in hate speech.
Be mindful of children: Refrain from excessive cursing, and avoid discussing topics such as politics, religion, race, sex, violence, or bodily functions.
Cite weather information: If you share information from trained weather spotters or meteorologists, always include the original source.
Respect the moderators: Always show respect toward moderators and their decisions.
Avoid morbid conversations: Do not engage in discussions that may be considered morbid. However, you may respectfully remember storm chasers or others who have passed away.
Use common sense: Engage in behavior that you would consider appropriate in a professional, safety-minded environment.
Consequences for Violating Chat Guidelines:
First instance: You will receive a warning.
Second instance: You will receive another warning and be directed to review the chat guidelines.
Third instance: You will receive yet another warning, along with a reminder to review the chat guidelines.
Fourth instance: You may be banned from engaging with chat content.
