MISSION

Informing the public using the latest advancements available.

The Saint Louis Weather Club protects people across the St. Louis area from severe weather.

We are a passionate, purpose-driven collective of individuals united by a shared vision: to foster meaningful, lasting change right here in our local community. Driven by empathy and a commitment to action, we combine our diverse skills and backgrounds to tackle pressing challenges, lift up our neighbors, and build a brighter, more informed world.

Our Founders’ Story

On April 8th, 2024, Sawyer and Dexter went on a field trip to see the solar eclipse. We were really excited, and after being on the bus for hours longer than expected due to traffic, we were eager to see it. At first, we thought it would be cool but nothing too important, but we were way off. That was one of the coolest things my friend and I have ever seen—how the sun is covered by the moon, and how dark it gets in the middle of the day. After we viewed that extraordinary sight, we were joking around and had the idea to start a weather club—specifically, the Saint Louis Weather Club. It was that single idea that sparked the movement that later became this. While Sawyer is no longer a volunteer with us, we will forever remember him as the person who helped create something out of seemingly nothing.
