The Saint Louis Weather Club may need to enact a ban or block in reaction to a violation of our policies. Here is some information about them.
Bans are used as a notification:
They notify the user that they are restricted from interacting with our services
Blocks are a technical restriction:
They physically prevent the restricted user from interacting with our services
If you have an active ban or block on your account, it is generally temporary and will go away with time. Some bans or blocks are indefinite, meaning the only way to get unblocked is by appealing the ban. In serious cases, appeals may be disabled, requiring the user to email us to appeal it. In extremely serious cases, STLWC may impose an irrevocable ban. These bans can not be appealed unless voted on by MOEC.
